This photography exhibition displayed work from Jack Harris and Alice Aedy of there experience of there time they spent in a refugee camp. The photos were stunning, they all contained such were a powerful strong message that our society needs to hear and respond too. There was a talk after the exhibition were they told their story. I loved the colour grading of the photos, the saturation had really been decreased to convey the hash, dark message. The photos were a mixture of portrait photos and landscape.
It really made me question and think about big current topics in society and how as a designer I can have an impact in life. As I'm growing up and maturing. I've started to realise that I'm studying one of the most powerful & important topics, graphic design communication, I'm understanding what a powerful tool design and creativity areas it's about communication, psychology & desigion architecture. I am trying to rethink my practice about making work that looks pretty and try and think how can I make great interesting work that has an impact on society and life.
