CRAFT PROJECT // SECTION Two Final outcome & Evaluation

Reflection & Evaluation on Project

Overall Thoughts:
This project I thought really challenged my style and how I produce work. I haven't worked with macro photography before. It also really challenged the way that I worked normally I have a very logical and thought out planned process. This I just started straight away with creative work, learning how to do portrait photography. It then just developed and kept going. I am happy with how this project turned out as I had no idea where it was going.

Strength:
The biggest strength was that I kept an open mind when starting this project and I was up for exploring any idea that came to my head. This meant that I had a wide range of experiments around the theme balance. This allowed me to try a style that was very different to what I was used to. It also gave me a chance to learn new techniques and software that I had been planning on learning for a while, such as Lightroom.

Weakness:
I found it very hard to push this project further, once I had found the experiment that I wanted to refine it, I tried by introducing different textures with fruit and trying to refine the colours the patterns it made. I should have maybe experimented with different liquids and textures to float on it. This could have given more interesting photography.

If I was to do this project again:

1. Push the branding future and expand out the patterns in a 360 campaign

2. Experimented with doing a video of the colours in macro and black magic camera, develop this into social media Instagram videos with music on top.
