Photoshoot:
Videos of Shoot
Evaluation of Section:
I thought that my personal and professional development of skills were really put to the test in this area of the project, as there was a lot of self-direction and stress to get the final images. I had to find a location, models, outfits, props and photographer. The hardest part was finding a location as a lot of places would not give me permission to shoot on tennis court around without insurance and photography warrants.
I also thought that my communication thought this whole section was really strong, this allowed everyone to know exactly what was going on and for it not to be chaos. I did this through the use of a clear PDF that I sent out to everyone involved explaining my idea.
In this section, I also collaborate with professional from talking to the CEO of Will to Win Tennis courts to collaborating with Hassan Joff, who took half of the photos for the shoot, this allowed me to shoot more photos in the short period of time I was given on court.
What was really disappointing with all the time and effort put into planning I could not change or predict the weather. It tipped it down for the shoot, which meant that moral was quite low, the models were cold which meant that their confidence decreased and the weather looked terrible in photos. This was a real shame but there was nothing I could do, as the there were so many other factors that were hard to coordinate all at once, like having everyone there at one time and having the location. In the end, though we got a limited about of photos that I could use for the campaign, but if I had more time and more of a budget I would love to shoot this project again.
